Who is responsible for your data

Clearfile, the service operating eulegalservices.com, decides how the data described here is used and is the controller under the GDPR. The only contact point for privacy matters is [email protected]; the site publishes no postal address or telephone number, and requests sent by email are handled in the same way as any other request.

What we collect, field by field

The request form asks for nine things. Each one is needed to prepare a written quote for a residence programme, a company or a licence application:

• Your citizenship, the country you are targeting and the service or programme you are asking about.
• Your budget band for our fees and when you plan to start.
• Your full name and email address, so the quote can reach you.
• The free-text message, where people usually mention family members, a moving date or the activity of a company.
• Your consent tick, kept with the request as the record that consent was given.

We also keep the emails you send us after the form, including any documents you choose to attach. Your IP address is never stored as such: it is turned into a salted hash, which lets us limit how many requests arrive from one address without keeping the address itself.

Spam is filtered on the site itself, with a hidden field, a minimum time to fill in the form and a cap on requests from one address. No third-party captcha is loaded, so no captcha provider sees your visit.

Why we use it and on what legal basis

• Consent, Article 6(1)(a) GDPR: sending the form with the consent box ticked allows us to store and read your request.
• Steps before a contract, Article 6(1)(b): replying to your request, preparing the quote and, if you accept it, carrying out the work.
• Legitimate interest, Article 6(1)(f): counting visits with a first-party cookie, so we know which pages are read. Choosing "Necessary only" in the cookie banner switches this off.

Your data is not used for newsletters, profiling or automated decisions. If we ever wanted to email you about something other than your own request, we would ask first.

Where the data is kept and who sees it

Requests are written to storage on the server that runs this site, not to an external CRM or mailing tool. When a request arrives, the site sends a notification to the operator through a messenger bot so that it can be answered; that notification is the only copy that leaves the site server.

There are no advertising networks, no analytics providers and no social media pixels on eulegalservices.com. Fonts are served from our own server, so opening a page does not send a request to a font provider. We do not sell or rent personal data to anyone.

If a filing requires it, the details needed for that filing go to the authority or registry concerned, and only after you have accepted a quote for that work.

How long we keep it

Form requests and the correspondence around them are kept for up to 24 months from the last message, then deleted. You can ask for earlier deletion at any time; the only exception is a record we must keep to meet a legal obligation, which we will name when we reply.

Cookies in one paragraph

We set three first-party cookies: one remembers your choice in the cookie banner for 365 days, one identifies a returning browser for visit counting for about 413 days, and one records where a visit came from for about 23 minutes. The visit counter starts before you choose in the banner; "Necessary only" turns it off. Names and details of each cookie are in our Cookie Policy.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask us to:

• show you the data we hold about you and give you a copy;
• correct details that are wrong or incomplete;
• delete your data;
• restrict its use while a question about it is being settled;
• stop counting your visits, or stop any other use based on legitimate interest, if you object;
• send the data you gave us to you or to another provider in a machine-readable file;
• withdraw your consent, which stops further use but does not undo processing already done.

You may also complain to the data protection authority of the EU or EEA country where you live or work, or where you believe the breach took place. You do not need to contact us first, although we would rather hear about the problem directly.

How to make a request

Write to [email protected] from the address you used in the form and say which right you want to use. If the request comes from another address, we may ask one question to confirm it is yours before we release anything. We usually reply within one business day and complete the request within the one-month period the GDPR sets.

Changes to this policy

When the site starts collecting something new or changes how long it keeps data, this page is updated before the change takes effect. Data you have already sent us is not put to a new purpose without asking you first.
