Check your eligibilityMost non-EU hires in Italy go through a nulla osta, a work authorisation the employer requests inside the yearly quotas of the decreto flussi. The worker then applies for the visa and, after arrival, the residence permit. We prepare the worker’s side and the employer’s checklist.

How it works
The quota numbers and the application dates (the “click days”) change every year. Our reference does not record them, so we confirm them for the current decree when you contact us.
The employer files the nulla osta request within the quota for the relevant category. Only after the authorisation is granted does the worker apply for the entry visa at the Italian consulate.
After arrival the worker applies for the residence permit for work. We keep the worker’s documents ready so that the visa step starts the day the nulla osta is issued.
Highly qualified workers can use the EU Blue Card under art. 27-quater of the Immigration Act, which does not wait for a quota window. If your salary reaches the Blue Card figure, we file that instead.
We give the employer the list for the nulla osta request, prepare your visa file in parallel and prepare the residence permit application after arrival.
