Check your eligibilityIn 2026 the gross monthly salary, holiday allowance excluded, must be at least €5,942 for applicants aged 30 or over and €4,357 under 30. Recent graduates can qualify at €3,122. The employer must be recognised by the IND as a sponsor.

How it works
Three criteria exist; your age and graduation date pick one.
€5,942 gross a month from age 30; €4,357 under 30; €3,122 on the reduced criterion, for example for recent graduates or after an orientation year. Holiday allowance does not count, and the amounts change every 1 January.
This permit is not the 30% ruling. That is a tax facility with its own conditions.
The permit runs for the employment contract, up to 5 years. Five years of residence open the permanent permit and the naturalisation route.
