The programme is closed. Ley Orgánica 1/2025 emptied articles 63–67 of Law 14/2013 with effect from 3 April 2025: no new applications through real estate, capital, deposits or business projects. Holders keep their permits and renew under the rules of their initial grant.

Abolished. Final provision 21 of Ley Orgánica 1/2025 (BOE 03.01.2025) left Law 14/2013 arts. 63-67 without content with effect from 03.04.2025. New transitional provision 1: investors and family members who filed before that date may receive the visa/authorisation under the rules in force on the filing date. New transitional provision 2: investor visas/authorisations valid on that date keep their validity for the period issued, and renewal applications are processed under the rules in force when the initial authorisation was granted. No new applications (real estate, capital, deposits, business project) are possible since 03.04.2025.

Permits valid on 3 April 2025 keep their validity; renewals are processed under the rules in force when the initial authorisation was granted. Applications filed before that date may still receive the visa under the old rules.

Investors and family members who filed before 3 April 2025 may receive the visa or authorisation under the rules in force on their filing date.

Holding a permit

Investor visas and authorisations valid on 3 April 2025 keep their validity for the period issued. Renewal applications are processed under the rules that applied when the initial authorisation was granted.

We prepare renewals and check that the original investment still meets those rules.

Who this is not for

  • New investors: no application is possible since 3 April 2025
